What is tithing?

Tithing is the biblical principle we obey to honor God with our finances. The first 10% of our income is presented before the Lord as an acknowledgment of our faithfulness to His Word, God’s faithfulness in our provisions, and to recognize that our possessions and resources truly belong to God and His kingdom.

What is the difference between tithing and giving?

Apart from tithing, giving is an expression of worship, gratitude, faith, and generosity. Giving is a voluntary act of offering what’s in addition to our tithes.
