What We

Believe

The Bible
We believe that the Bible is the Word of God; inspired, infallible and unchangeable from Genesis to Revelation (2 Timothy 3:16). We believe in One God manifested through three people:  God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, and that the three are one.  (1 John 5:7)

The Deity of Jesus Christ
We believe that Jesus Christ is the Only Son of God, who was born of a virgin woman; and was crucified, died and rose again on the third day. He ascended to the heavens and now sits at the right hand of the Father (Isaiah 7:14, Luke 1:30-35).

Salvation
We believe that salvation is gained through repentance and the confession of sins; it is given by divine grace (not by works) and is received through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ; man is saved by the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit, and being justified by grace, has become heir of God according to the hope of eternal life. (Titus 2:11; 3:5-7; Romans 10:13-15; Luke 24:47).

Sanctification
We believe that by the power of the Holy Spirit, we strive to obey the command, “Be ye holy, for I am holy.”  Sanctification is the will of God for all believers and should be earnestly pursued by walking in obedience to God’s Word (Heb. 12:14; 1 Pet. 1:15,16; 1 Thess. 5:23, 24; 1 John 2:6.)

Baptism
We believe in the baptism of the Body of Christ, by which an individual accepts Jesus as Lord and Savior is born again and goes on to be part of the Body of Christ and His eternal life. We believe in the baptism in waters as a sign of identifying with the death (to sin) and the resurrection of Jesus for eternal life (Romans 6:4). We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in spiritual tongues and that, through this baptism, we receive the power to be witnesses of Jesus to the whole world (Acts 1:8, Acts 2:4, Mark 16:17).

Laying of Hands
We believe that the laying of hands is one of the ways to transfer and impart blessings, healing and the power of God from one person to another (Acts 8:15-20, 1 Timothy 4:14, 2 Timothy 1:6).  We believe in the five ministries of Ephesians 4:11, as the gifts given by God to the body of Christ (Ephesians 4:11).
The Healing and Delivering Power of the Kingdom
We believe in the power of the Kingdom of God that through the Holy Spirit, we are empowered to heal the sick, cast out demons, and perform miracles, signs and wonders (Matthew 12:28).

Faith
We believe that without faith it is impossible to live a life that is pleasing to God, and that through it we inherit His promises (Hebrews 11:6).
